–Iowa Lakes Community College has joined the Western Iowa Regents Resource Center network as a way to assist students looking to pursue a bachelor’s degree at one of the state’s public universities. Kyle Norris serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Iowa Lakes, and he tells KLGA News they are excited to be part of this network which will benefit all involved.
The WIRRC maintains staff across western Iowa, including Creston, Council Bluffs, Harlan, Sheldon, and Sioux City to connect students to regents’ university resources and degree programs.
Norris says Tiffany Nolta is an academic advisor at Iowa Lakes and will serve as the direct contact person between students and the regent’s universities.
Students interested in learning more about their transfer options or connecting with the WIRRC can contact Nolta by calling 712-362-6833 or email tnolta@iowalakes.edu. You can find out more at www.iowalakes.edu.
