–Algona held Pocahontas Area to just 17 points in the 2nd half, and erased a 2-point halftime deficit with a 15-1 run to start the 3rd quarter, as the Bulldogs defeated the Indians 54-47 Thursday in Pocahontas. Kate Limbaugh had a career high 22 points and secured her 5th double-double of the season. The Bulldogs will be back in action Friday when they host Iowa Falls-Alden.

–Algona jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back as the Bulldogs defeated Pocahontas Area 87-60 Thursday night. Algona put the game away late, outscoring the Indians 28-14 in the 4th quarter. Nathan Manske, Landon Campe, and Jacob Burns each scored in double-figures for the Bulldogs.
