–The Iowa Pork Producers Association will host four Regional Conferences later this month aimed at providing practical tools and industry insights directly to stakeholders across the state, with one of the four set to be held in Algona. Zoey Wiley is the Producer Education Director for the IPPA, and she tells KLGA News the conferences will provide valuable information for anyone who works in the swine industry.
The conferences will feature presentations from various ag industry officials and educators to cover a number of different topics.
Wiley says they are asking anyone who plans on attending to register ahead of time at www.iowapork.org so they have enough materials on hand at each session.
The regional conference in Algona is scheduled for Monday, February 23rd inside the Tietz Entrepreneurial Center at Iowa Lakes Community College. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM followed by informational sessions until 4:30 PM. The other conferences will be held in Orange City on February 24th, Independence on February 25th and Washington on February 26th.
