–A West Bend teen did not report any injuries following a 1-vehicle rollover accident last week.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 16-year-old Lainey Spencer was southbound on Iowa Highway 15 in a 1992 Volkswagen just after 9 PM last Monday, March 23rd.
The accident report states that Spencer dozed off and left the roadway, striking the shoulder, which woke her up. In an attempt to get the vehicle back on the road, Spencer overcorrected and the vehicle overturned in the ditch, ending up on its side.
Spencer did not report any injuries, as the report states she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Damage to her vehicle was estimated at $3,500.
