–A Spencer man is facing multiple felony counts following an investigation by authorities in Palo Alto County into sexual abuse allegations.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 33-year-old Marcus Lee Negaard on Thursday in connection to alleged incidents from Sunday, July 12th. Negaard has been charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (Class B Felony), Enticing a Minor (Class D Felony), Grooming (Class D Felony), and Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor (Aggravated Misdemeanor).
Online records show criminal complaints were filed Thursday prior to Negaard’s arrest. He was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted with the investigation by the Spencer Police Department.
