–Additional charges have been filed this week against an Emmetsburg woman who was arrested earlier this month in a drug case.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Nicole Lee Juchem was arrested on September 14th and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine (2nd offense), an Aggravated Misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.
On Tuesday, Deputies served Juchem with 3 additional arrest warrants on charges of 3rd Degree Burglary, 5th Degree Theft, and Burglary of an Unoccupied Motor Vehicle. Court records show the additional charges stem from alleged incidents in late August.
Juchem was still being held in the Palo Alto County Jail on the drug charges when Deputies served the additional warrants. She is scheduled to have preliminary hearings in both cases next week.
