–The music department at Iowa Lakes Community College will host an event next weekend featuring food, live music, and philanthropy in an effort to support their performing arts series. Jessi Strom works in Promotions and Operations of the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center at the Iowa Lakes Estherville Campus, and she tells KLGA News they hope this will become an annual event.
The inaugural “Uncorked” fundraising gala will take place on Saturday, October 17th at the Lund Performing Arts Center in Estherville, beginning at 5 PM.
Strom says “Uncorked” is about more than fundraising, as it is aimed at creating a community that values and celebrates the arts.
