–Anyone who may be interested in becoming a vendor at the Kossuth County Farmer’s Market this year is encouraged to attend an informational meeting this Saturday (March 18). Farmer’s Market spokesperson Joanne Roepke-Bode tells KLGA News they will be going over the rules associated with becoming a vendor at the market.
Roepke-Bode says they did have some new vendors join the farmer’s market last year.
Roepke-Bode says the rules associated with the market depend on what each vendor is looking to sell.
With the rough winter across the area, Roepke-Bode says the farmer’s market will start a little bit later this spring than normal.
The informational meeting is scheduled for 10AM Saturday at the First Congregational Church in Algona. If you’re interested in becoming a vendor but can not attend Saturday’s meeting, you can contact Roepke-Bode at 515-341-4864 for more information.
