–Representatives from Iowa State Bank recently presented the proceeds from the sale of state tournament apparel to the Algona Boys and Bishop Garrigan Girls Basketball teams.
The BGHS Girls team received a donation of $5,920 after defending their Class 1A State Championship from a season ago.
The AHS Boys Basketball team received a donation of $8,032 based on the number of apparel items sold, as the Bulldogs qualified for the 3A State Basketball tournament for the first time since 1999.
Since 2018, Iowa State Bank has contributed over $33,000 to the BGHS Athletic Department and over $27,000 to the AHS Athletic Department through the sales of state tournament apparel.
