–Iowa Lakes Community College has named Troy Larson as their new Executive Dean of Students. ILCC President Scott Stokes announced Friday that Larson will take over the role on July 1st.
Larson currently serves as the director of Athletics and Housing at Iowa Lakes, while also coaching the Lakers Men’s Basketball team.
Larson attended Iowa Lakes where he earned an associate in arts Degree, before obtaining a degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from South Dakota State University.
Pending board approval, Larson will take on his new role on July 1st. The school’s current Executive Dean of Students, Julie Williams, is set to retire on June 30th.
Larson will continue to serve as the Athletic Director at Iowa Lakes to go along with his new duties as Executive Dean of Students. The school announced Friday that Assistant Coach Jason McKinney will replace Larson as Head Men’s Basketball Coach.
