–An Algona church will be hosting a fundraising meal tonight to benefit the Kossuth County CARE team. Mick Schlievert is one of the organizers for the event that will be held at the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ, and he tells KLGA News that the CARE team continues to support more families each month.
If you’re looking to take the night off from cooking, Schlievert says they can take care of that for you, all while benefiting a great organization.
The meal will be served from 5-7 this evening in the fellowship hall at the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ, at the corner of McGregor and South Moore Street in Algona and is being held in part of the church’s 165th anniversary celebration.
