Titonka Man to Stand Trial in October on Terrorism Charge

–A Titonka man will stand trial in October after allegedly threatening a mass shooting following a traffic stop near Mason City back in June.

49-year-old Luke Andrew Chodur was arrested following a traffic stop along Iowa Highway 122, just west of Mason City, in the late evening hours of June 2nd.

Court documents indicate that was pulled over on his motorcycle for speeding around 10:30 PM, when he allegedly made the threat to law enforcement.

An affidavit filed in the case states that Chodur made suicidal threats and threatened to commit a mass shooting before taking his own life.

He has been charged with making a Threat of Terrorism, a Class D felony.

His trial has been scheduled to begin on October 3rd.
