Palo Alto County Woman Charged with Domestic Assault

–A Ruthven woman was taken into custody early Friday morning following a domestic disturbance at a rural Palo Alto County address.

According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies received a 911 call reporting a domestic assault in progress in the 3700 block of 340^th Street, about 2 miles northeast of Ruthven, just after 4AM Friday. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted a brief investigation and arrested 56-year-old Tamara Liester of Ruthven.

Liester is facing a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault causing Bodily Injury (1^st offense), a Serious Misdemeanor. She was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
