On Sunday evening, October 22, at 7:00 p.m. the Club of the 70s of Fenton is hosting a political forum at the Fenton Legion Hall Community Center.
There are six people seeking the two open seats on the city council. Incumbent Sandi Del Rosso is being joined on the ballot by Alex Sauve, Jeffrey Clabaugh, Tim Peterson, Rhonda Cash, and Ryan Harms.
Fenton city clerk, Sue Potratz, stated that these are most candidates Fenton has had in the thirty years she has worked for the city.
Each candidate is being asked to give a brief statement as to why they are running for the office. Then the moderator of the meeting will ask each candidate to answer one or two questions formulated by the 70s Club. There will be no questions taken from the floor.
A meet and greet will following the candidate statements. The public is invited to attend. Particularly the citizens of Fenton who will be voting on the candidates in the November 6 election.
