–The Community and Culture Connections group will host their next International Delight event Tuesday evening, this time featuring cuisine from South America. Jennifer Davis heads the Community and Culture Connections organization, and she tells KLGA News the first event back in September went extremely well.

That first event featured traditional Cuban food, and Davis says Tuesday night they will be serving food from Venezuela.

Davis says they are hoping to have these international meals every few months going forward.

The Venezuelan meal will be served from 4:30-7 PM Tuesday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 315 S. Moore Street in Algona. A freewill donation will be accepted to help offset the cost of the food and preparation, as both dine-in and carryout will be available.
