–An Emmetsburg man was taken into custody late last week following the report of an assault in Cylinder.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to the report on an assault at 209 Jefferson Street in Cylinder around 2:30 PM on Thursday, January 4th.
Upon arrival Deputies conducted a brief investigation and arrested 27-year-old Dalton James Lewis of Emmetsburg.
Lewis was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor. He was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
