–An Ottosen man was taken into custody late last week on theft charges in connection with an alleged incident earlier this month.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies met Law Enforcement officials from Palo Alto County around 9:45 PM Thursday and arrested 48-year-old Timothy Scott Hedglin on charges of 5th Degree Theft.
Online court records show a criminal complaint was filed by the Algona Police Department on January 7th and an arrest warrant was issued for Hedglin the next day, following an alleged incident on January 2nd.
Hedglin was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Court records show Hedglin is scheduled to make a preliminary appearance in Kossuth County District Court on February 14th.
