–The Algona School Board received a financial update during their meeting Monday night from Superintendent Joe Carter. Carter says right now the district has brought in about $1.3 Million more than it has spent.
The year-to-date figures show the district has brought in around $10.8 Million in revenues and has expenditures totaling just under $9.6 Million. Carter showed the board where the district’s revenue comes from.
Carter told the board the districts revenues and expenses should even out a bit by the end of the budget year.
