Absolute Pro Wrestling is returning to Algona on Saturday, April 20th, a night that will feature a few new twists to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Floral Hall on the Kossuth County Fairgrounds will be the host for the first time, something organizer Mike Vandy feels was mutually beneficial.
Previously, Absolute Pro Wrestling has held events at Algona’s VFW Hall. Vandy says the VFW is a great host, but being in Floral Hall gets rid of some limitations on space.
Some of the evening’s features included a no holds barred match, ladder match, and women’s wrestling. Additionally, many local talents are also coming to Algona.
Doors open at 6:30 with wrestling action getting underway at 7. Front row seats are sold out, limited second row seats remain at $12, and general admission is $10 with kids 4 and under getting in for free. Vandy says Absolute Pro Wrestling aims to offer affordable family friendly entertainment, while supporting the local community.
All proceeds from the night’s concessions sales will go to the Kossuth County Fair Board. Anyone who can’t make it to Floral Hall on Saturday can tune in to the Algona Radio YouTube channel for a livestream starting at 6:50 at the link below.
