–A Rolfe woman was taken into custody late last week on a valid arrest warrant out of Palo Alto County.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 53-year-old Tammy Jean McGruder of Rolfe on a warrant for 2nd Degree Theft, a Class D Felony just before 9 PM on Friday (May 3rd).
Online court records show the Emmetsburg Police Department filed a criminal complaint on April 30th, with the charge stemming from an alleged incident on March 6th.
McGruder was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Court records show she is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in Palo Alto County District Court on Tuesday, May 14th.
Deputies from Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office were assisted with the arrest by Deputies from the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office.
