–A report released this past week outlines the impact that the Kossuth County Community Foundation has on area residents and non-profit groups.
The report shows a total of $530,890 in grants from all charitable funds of the foundation were awarded to organizations benefiting Kossuth County’s residents and communities in 2023. Since it was founded in 2005, the foundation has handed out over $3.4 Million in grants. The report also shows the foundation ended 2023 with $7.6 Million in net assets.
Some 31 different organizations and community groups received funding this past year, benefiting area residents of all ages. Grants are awarded in core program areas of arts and culture, community betterment, education and youth development, environment and animal welfare, as well as health and human service.
