Pharmacists Mutual Announces Leadership Changes

–Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Company announced this week that Board Chairman Kirk Hayes is stepping down from his leadership position, effective as of the annual meeting held on May 17th.

Hayes has served on the Pharmacists Mutual Board of Directors since 1969 and has been the Chairman for the last 23 years. The company says Hayes plans to stay on as a board member, and Susan Sutter will be taking on the role of Board Chair.

Sutter has been a board member for the last 19 years, and in a statement released by the company, says she is committed to advancing their business strategy and delivering a strong performance.

To go along with those changes in leadership, Jill Link was elected to the Board of Directors during the annual meeting. Link will replace F. Michael James, who retired after 21 years on the board.

Pharmacists Mutual is headquartered in Algona and serves as the largest provider of commercial lines property and casualty products for independently owned and operated pharmacies in the United States.
