–Kossuth County has a pair of new Sheriff’s Deputies, as Sheriff Roger Fisher introduced Isabelle Davis and Jason Broad to the Board of Supervisors Tuesday morning.
Board Chairman Kyle Stecker administered the oath of office for each of the new Deputies, but Fisher says they still have another opening to fill.
The Sheriff’s Department has been working short staffed for several months after two deputies left for other opportunities and one retired earlier this year. Fisher is hoping that some recently approved hiring incentives and proposed changes to residency requirements will help attract potential candidates to fill that final opening.
