What is “Thai Fusion”?
Thai food is the national cuisine of Thailand. It is known for its bold flavors and aromatic ingredients and often features a mix of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy tastes.
“Thai Fusion” dishes and restaurants are very popular around the world, blending traditional Thai flavors with various international tastes to create unique and delicious dishes. It’s all about innovation, mixing spicy, sour, sweet, and salty flavors of Thai cuisine with the distinctive tastes and techniques of other cultures. The essence of Thai fusion lies in balance—it’s not just about throwing ingredients together but crafting dishes that respect the original while introducing an exciting twist.
Thai Fusion Night main course will include Crispy Porchetta, Sofrito, Maduros, Rice and Black Beans with a delicious Lemon Cake for dessert. Beverage options Lemonade, Thai iced tea and water.
Our chefs for the evening are Ignacio Gonzalez and Marck Anthony Jose Roque. Mr. Gonzalez brings 20 years of experience as a chef in California and Iowa; Marck Anthony is a student chef at the Iowa Central Culinary program in Ft. Dodge. Mr. Gonzalez and his family currently manage the Second Street Emporium in Webster City, which caters throughout Northwest Iowa. Catering reviews are excellent!
International Delight: Thai Fusion will be a sit-down, fine dining experience (we’re bringing out the white tablecloths, porcelain plates and silverware!). No dress code although business casual would be most appropriate.
