–The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will host an informational meeting for area hunters Wednesday night on the Algona campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. Lucas Straw is a DNR Wildlife Biologist based in Emmet County, and he tells KLGA News they hope local hunters will come out and provide feedback, so they have a better understanding of how things sit around the state.

Straw says the feedback from local hunters is vital to the DNR.

The meeting is being held inside the Tietz Entrepreneurial Center on the Algona campus of Iowa Lakes.

Straw says they will stay as long as they need to answer questions from anyone in attendance.

The meeting will begin at 7 PM Wednesday. Anyone interested in attending should enter the Tietz Entrepreneurial Center through the southwest door. Preregistration is not required to attend.
