No Injuries Reported in Semi Rollover Near Algona

–A Worth County man did not suffer injuries after the semi he was driving left the road and tipped over in rural Kossuth County Monday morning.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Jacob Charlson of Northwood was driving a 2001 Volvo Semi along 180^th Avenue 4 miles southeast of Algona just before 8AM Monday.

While attempting to turn east on 180^th Street, Charlson didn’t turn wide enough, causing the trailer to leave the roadway and tip over in the ditch.

Charlson was not injured. Damage to the semi, owned by 5T Trucking of Thompson, was estimated at $10,000.
