–A fundraising meal will be served Tuesday night in Algona to benefit the Kossuth County CARE team. Mick Schlievert is helping to organize the event, and he tells KLGA News they hope the public will come out and show their support once again.
Schlievert says the CARE Team continues to assist more area residents each year.
This is the fourth straight year that his fundraising meal has been served during the summer months.
The menu includes pork loin sandwiches, coleslaw, beans, chips, and a dessert all for a free will donation. The meal will be served from 4:30-6:30 PM Tuesday at the First Congregational Church building, 315 S. Moore Street in Algona, with dine-in and carry out options available.
