–Organizers with the Kevin Cram Memorial Scholarship say they still have openings for this Saturday’s fundraising events that will feature a 5K run/1K walk, 4-person best shot golf tournament, and live entertainment. Marissa Miller tells KLGA News they will kick everything off Saturday morning as registration for the run/walk begins at 7:30 AM.
The 18-hole tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 10:30 AM, and Miller says they have plenty of spots available.
Registration for the golf event is $500 per team, and that includes your cart, lunch, a tournament T-shirt and swag bag. Each golfer will also have a chance to win a new car from Kemna’s if they can register a hole-in-one. A silent auction will run throughout the day, with a live auction set to begin around 6 PM. Miller says they have several interesting items on the auction that will be up for bid, plus a couple of raffle items you can purchase tickets to win.

All of the money raised will go to the Kevin Cram Memorial Scholarship, which is intended for Kossuth County students interested in pursuing a degree in an agriculture-related field.
