–Kossuth County Conservation will host their annual Jack-O-Lantern Lane event Sunday at Smith Lake in partnership with the Algona Rotary Club. Naturalist Billie Willie tells KLGA News the event requires some assistance from the public before it can begin.
Once the pumpkins are carved, Willie says they will begin setting up for the main event Sunday evening.
Willie says you will see a little bit of everything when it comes to Jack-O-Lantern Lane.
The pumpkin carving from 1-4 PM Sunday is completely free of charge and all tools will be provided. The Jack-O-Lanterns will be on display from 7-8:30 PM at Smith Lake and can be viewed for $5 per car. If you have any questions, contact Kossuth County Conservation by calling 515-295-2138.
