–A Whittemore man is facing multiple counts of violating a no contact order after being taken into custody early Tuesday in Bancroft.
According to the Bancroft Police Department, 35-year-old Michael Wayne Grulke was arrested on 2 counts of violating a no contact order early Tuesday morning after an alleged incident was reported to police. Following a brief investigation, Grulke was taken into custody and booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
Online court records show Grulke was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault in September of 2020, and at that time a no contact order was put into place.
He pleaded guilty to the Domestic Abuse Charge back in February, but court records also show that Grulke was charged with nine counts of violating the no contact order back in January, prior to the guilty plea. He then pleaded guilty to four of those counts back in March, with the remainder being dismissed.
