Algona Recreation Department-Youth Softball and Baseball

Algona Recreation Department is now accepting registration for the Youth Softball and Baseball until Monday, April 3rd. Can Register online or at City Hall.   It is for girls and boys in second grade through sixth grade. Second grade teams play coach pitch. Algona is  part of a traveling league with Emmetsburg, Bancroft, Ruthven, Whittemore, West Bend, Pocahontas and Graettinger. Volunteer coaches are used at all age levels.  Practices will be begin in Late April/ early may and games begin mid to late may and continue through the end of June.  The cost is $30 per player. Last day to sign up in April 3rd.
