Iowa Lakes Community College is seeing enrollment figures creeping back up towards where they were prior to the pandemic. ILCC President Scott Stokes tells KLGA News they saw a 4% increase in students and a 9% increase in total credit hours enrolled during the fall semester.
Stokes says it has taken a total team effort at Iowa Lakes to bring enrollment numbers up.
Stokes says a statewide emphasis on high-demand careers has helped many of the programs at Iowa Lakes attract new students.
If enrollment numbers continue to increase, Stokes says they have room for those new students.
The enrollment increases posted at Iowa Lakes over the previous year are the highest for any community college in the state.
