–While we’re just over a week into spring, plans are already underway for this summer’s Party in the Park celebrations in downtown Algona. Algona Chamber of Commerce Director Vicki Mallory recently spoke with Hometown Radio about how the planning is going, and when this year’s events will be held.
Mallory says they are currently working on themes for each of the events, and one thing they may try is a “Touch a Truck” night.
Mallory says there is a reason they started having different themes at each Party in the Park event.
Each Party in the Park will be held on the Carnegie Library lawn, at the corner of Dodge and Nebraska Streets in downtown Algona.
