–A Palo Alto County man is facing multiple charges in Kossuth County following a domestic disturbance Friday night in the Whittemore area.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a call in Whittemore just after 10PM Friday, and after a brief investigation arrested 30-year-old Matthew John Jakubic from Emmetsburg. Jakubic has been charged with Domestic Abuse Assault-1st Offense, 5th Degree Criminal Mischief, and Obstruction of Emergency Communications, all Simple Misdemeanors.
Jakubic was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
Online court records indicate a No Contact Order has been issued to prevent Jakubic from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
