–A Ruthven man was taken back into custody last week following a probation check by local law enforcement.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies assisted the Department of Corrections with a probation check in Ruthven last Tuesday.
Following that check, Deputies arrested 18-year-old Dallas Engelkes on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine-1st offense, a serious misdemeanor, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Engelkes was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail before posting bond.
