–The West Bend-Mallard School Board recently approved some upgrades to the playground at their building in West Bend. Superintendent Amanda Schmidt tells KLGA News the upgrades will help with student safety on the playground.
Schmidt says they will keep all the current equipment, with a new addition funded by the school’s teachers.
Schmidt says work will begin over the next few weeks.
Schmidt says if everything goes to plan, they should be able to have everything ready when school begins in late August.
