–The Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation kicked off their annual Summer intern Program Wednesday by hosting their Intern Breakfast. Kyle Norris is the new Executive Dean of the Emmetsburg Campus at Iowa Lakes Community College, and he served as the featured speaker for the event. Norris tells KLGA News the intern program serves a great purpose for the area.
Norris told the interns in attendance to take advantage of the opportunities presented to them over the next few months.
Norris also encouraged the interns to embrace the process of stepping out of their comfort zone.
Norris says the intern program is beneficial to Iowa Lakes and all area businesses.
The interns will take part in various activities over the next couple of months, while also completing a service project. The intern program dates back to 1999.
