–The annual bike ride around Kossuth County, better known as BRAK, is set to go now that the route has been officially approved. Jennifer Harrington with the Algona Rotary Club tells KLGA News they will start out on June 10th with two different route options for riders.
If you’re unsure whether or not either of the routes might be too much for your legs, Harrington says they can help you out.
Registration is $25 per rider, and Harrington says they use the proceeds to benefit area children.
Registration will begin at 7:30 AM on Saturday, June 10th in the Algona YMCA Parking Lot. You can register the day of the ride, but you will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. You can register by filling out the forms available on the Algona Rotary Facebook page or by stopping by the Algona Chamber of Commerce office in downtown Algona.
