–It’s a busy time at Central Park in Algona, with summer activities in full swing and work on the second phase of the redevelopment effort underway. City Administrator Jacob Tjaden tells KLGA News that some of the work at the new skatepark needed to be redone.
Tjaden says they will also be laying the groundwork for the new splashpad over the next few months.
Tjaden says it may be a bit noisy in the park this summer, but they believe it will all be worth the temporary disturbance.
Tjaden says the skatepark should be up in running later this summer.
