–A Webster County man is facing a felony charge in Kossuth County following a traffic stop in the rural Algona Area early Thursday morning.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies conducted the traffic stop just after 2:30 AM on June 1st. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies arrested the driver, identified as 38-year-old Casey James Schulte of Fort Dodge.
Schulte is charged with OWI 3rd offense, a Class D Felony, along with Driving While Barred, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.
Schulte was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records indicate that he is due back in Kossuth County District Court on June 9th for a preliminary hearing.
