–An alleged incident late Friday night ended with the arrest of a Whittemore man on a pair of charges.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a call for assistance just after 11 PM Friday in Whittemore. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted an investigation, and arrested 29-year-old Lance James Peck.
Peck is being charged with Domestic Abuse Assault-1st Offense, a Simple Misdemeanor, and False Imprisonment, a Serious Misdemeanor. Online court records show that Peck is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in Kossuth County District Court on June 14th.
Online court records also show that a No Contact Order has been issued to prevent Peck from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
