–An effort is underway in Kossuth County to update the 911 addresses at each rural residence. John Crookshank serves as the Chairman of the county’s Joint 911 Services Committee, and he tells KLGA News that the prep work for the project has already been completed.
Crookshank says the next step will involve marking each sign that needs an update.
Crookshank says the updates are critically important to emergency responders when they are trying to locate the proper address.
If everything goes smoothly, Crookshank says the project should take 2-3 months to complete
