–Kossuth Regional Health Center has added a new member to their Speech Therapy team.
According to the healthcare facility, Speech-Language Pathologist Emily Scott will be providing Speech Therapy services in the Occupational Therapy Department, joining Speech Therapist Nicole Kuecker.
Scott is originally from Wall Lake, Iowa. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Minnesota State University. She is also certified in Pediatric Feeding Therapy through the Debra Beckman Oral Motor Approach.
Speech-Language Pathologists work to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
