–A traffic stop north of Burt earlier this week led to the arrest of three Swea City residents on multiple drug related charges.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deptues conducted the stop 2 miles north of Burt around 12:30 PM on Tuesday, where the department’s K9 officer alerted the presence of illegal narcotics within the vehicle. When Deputies searched the vehicle, they discovered plastic baggies containing a white, powdery substance known to be methamphetamine, as well as some drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the search, Deputies arrested:
*Phillip Pytleski, 39, on charges of Possession of a controlled substance, 2nd offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Violation of a No Contact Order.
*Casey Pytleski, 35, on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
*Lucas Johnson, 25, on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All three were booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
