The North Kossuth Golf Club in Bancroft is conducting a fundraiser to coincide with the course’s 60th anniversary celebration. KLGA News spoke with board member Larry Vaske, and he talks about the fundraising effort.
Vaske says they’re trying to raise $100,000 with the raffle tickets, and they will be handing out some large cash prizes.
The raffle drawings will be held as part of a 4-person best shot tournament that will take place Saturday afternoon (8/12), and Vaske says you still have time to get a ticket or two.
The golf outing will be held Saturday, beginning at 1PM at the North Kossuth Golf Club. It will be a 4-person best shot format, with a fee of $50/player, which includes your golf and the meal which will follow, around 5PM. Vaske says you do not need to be present to win, and if you don’t want to golf, you can still stop out Saturday afternoon, as a free will donation meal will be held once the tournament is completed. If you do want to golf, or if you need a raffle ticket, you can call the clubhouse at 515-885-2352.
