–A second suspect is in custody as a part of an investigation into multiple burglaries in Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska over the last few weeks.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Jeremy John Soesbe of Mason City is now in custody, facing charges of 3rd Degree Burglary and Ongoing Criminal Conduct.

On August 10th, Kossuth County Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at the Gold Eagle Coop in Titonka. As Deputies began to investigate, they learned burglaries also occurred the same evening in Winnebago County and across the border in Fairbault County, Minnesota.

Deputies sent the surveillance footage from Titonka to other law enforcement agencies and received a response from the Otoe County Sheriff’s Department in SW Nebraska. Deputies in Nebraska reported a pair of burglaries in the town of Syracuse that matched the vehicle and suspects from Titonka.

That information led to search warrants being issued for a residence in Mason City. During the execution of that warrant, 33-year-old Shawn Boger was taken into custody.

Soesebe was located at a later time in Mason City and arrested. Both men are currently being held in the Kossuth County Jail. The investigation into the burglaries is ongoing and the search for more individuals suspected of being involved in these burglaries continues.
