–The forecast is calling for sunshine and warm temperatures for the 75th annual Algona Band Day Festival on Saturday. Algona Chamber of Commerce Director Vicki Mallory tells KLGA News that they have another full parade for spectators to enjoy.

Mallory says they try to keep the bands spaced as evenly apart .

Mallory says you may need to set up early to get one of the prime viewing spots for Saturday’s parade.

The parade begins at 1PM and will travel along State Street through downtown Algona, starting at the Fire Station and ending at Thorington Street. If you can’t make it to the parade in person, you can watch it online with the Algona Radio YouTube Livestream. The Field Show competition begins at 5:30 PM at Bulldog Stadium, with the awards handed out around 9:30 PM, followed by a Fireworks display.
