–Area non-profit and government agencies seeking funding from the Kossuth County Community Foundation this year have a few days left to submit their applications. Shanda Hanson serves as the Director of Affiliate Impact for the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, and she tells KLGA News they still have time to answer questions but suggests reaching out sooner rather than later.
Hansen says it’s better to call and ask a simple question than to guess and hope you’re right.
This year’s grant cycle has been a bit earlier and shorter than it was in year’s past. Hansen says this is being done in an effort to get the funding out quicker.
Hansen says the groups seeking funding should know the fate of their application before the end of the year.
