–An Ayrshire man is facing multiple charges following an incident in the early morning hours Saturday.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to the report of a possible domestic disturbance just before 1:45 AM Saturday at a residence on Burns Street in Ayrshire. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted a brief investigation and as a result, arrested 33-year-old Jacob Jon Hunefeld of Ayrshire.
Hunefeld is facing charges of Domestic Abuse Assault (1st offense), a simple misdemeanor, and Driving while Barred, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
Online court records show he is scheduled to have a non-jury trial on January 5th, 2024. Records also show a no contact order has been issued to prevent Hunefeld from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
