–A Lone Rock teen avoided injury after the car she was driving left the roadway and overturned Tuesday morning.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Clara Harsha was driving eastbound on 300th street in a 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass around 7:30 AM Tuesday. Harsha told Deputies that she was traveling at 45 MPH when a gust of wind pushed her vehicle, causing her to over correct and lose control.
The vehicle exited the roadway and overturned in the south ditch. The accident report states that Harsha was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident and did not sustain any injuries.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
